Senior Business Development Executive
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Business Development team as a Senior Business Development Executive.
You will report to the Business Development Director and be responsible for managing the Business Development team whilst delivering additional revenue and ensuring that retention targets are met. The role is home-based, and you will ideally be located close to London.

Key Responsibilities:
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.
Proven capability to develop and grow executive-level relationships within the commercial insurance industry
Ability to represent our group at senior level at internal and external meetings
Develop annual account business plans, execute against them, and communicate the progress to the Board of Directors as required
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key nominated client accounts to grow profitable business and retain clients
Identify, manage, and develop segments of the commercial insurance industry (including high net worth)
Research and source potential new clients
Track, measure, and evaluate sales metrics and trends
Track, measure, and evaluate customer satisfaction metrics and trends
Suggest innovative ways of increasing customer satisfaction
Develop and deliver presentations to nominated clients via email, online, over the phone, via video call or face-to-face. Ensuring that Marketing is liaised with, and our brand guidelines are adhered to
Form key relationships and network across social media platforms
Keep abreast of industry and market trend best practices
As a Senior Business Development Executive, you must have:
Strong experience in a client-facing/broking environment
Broad knowledge of the insurance industry
Experience successfully converting new business opportunities and account managing to ensure high levels of retention
Experience managing, coaching, and developing a team
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
A proven ability to negotiate successfully to deliver new business and ensure high levels of retention
Ability to understand and interpret MI to make informed decisions
Effective verbal and written communication skills across all mediums including face-to-face presentations
Professional, customer-focused approach both internally and externally
Highly organised and able to respond well under pressure and meet deadlines
Confident managing a team as well as being able to work for periods using own initiative
Cope well with change, internally within the business and externally within the market

Risk Consultants

Skills required
A minimum of 5 years risk management experience for either an Insurer, Broker or Underwriter
A good understanding of process risks and the associated risk management solutions needed for them. Experience in applying this knowledge in an industrial setting would be beneficial, or the ability and want to learn in this area.

The successful candidate will be home based, so must be self-driven, and will be expected to produce relevant risk management reports on behalf of our customers after attending site to carry out surveys, or after having undertaken a telephone-based survey intervention. Due to our client base, the work will be wide ranging across the full spectrum of commercial and industrial risks and the reporting formats will vary. Assessor
We are seeking an Assessor to work 40 hours a week Monday - Friday at our head office in Poundbury.
This busy and varied role offers:

Assessors play a key role in the production of Desktop Rebuild Cost Assessment Reports for our clients. They are led by our Chartered Surveyor (RICS) team in producing an industry trusted assessment of building rebuild costs. Our Assessors are trained in-house to become highly skilled in online property searches using an array of internet based tools as well as bespoke internal systems. They produce reports for our clients providing a full breakdown of calculations, building measurements, pictures, and maps.
You will be required to meet targets, be highly organised, and have high levels of accuracy. You'll also have have an excellent eye for detail, a good understanding of the English language, knowledge and understanding of the internet, and the ability to prioritise work due to varying client service standards.
